The Onoguchi family were an old-established family and had served as the head of the village since the Edo period. The residential site has six buildings made with Oya stone; “front storehouse”, “rear storehouse”, “old sake brewery”, “Nagato-mon gate”, “compost storage”, and “old drying shack”. It still retains an old typical building style of wealthy farmers’ residence.
